Napier

Another NZ icon. This in the motel at Napier. Not as
big as the previous one.
The view from the Motel room.  It wasn't too noisy,
probably because no one came to it.
The main street with me on a mission.
The ship that's following us down the coast.  The
place was crawling with tourists.
View from the bluff
The side where we are from the bluff
Elephant Hill winery where we bought some nice
wine
The World cup for little dingies on the harbour
Some lake about 35 ks from Napier
Black swans at the Lake
A friendly water dragon in the Aquarium

Hells Gap and Rotoura

Hells Gate entrance.  Just before Rotoura
The bubbling mud
The forest in the middle of the bubbling mud
The waterfall where the temperature is 40 degrees
The mud volcano. It erupts only at night or so he said!
Te Puia. Just out of Rotoura towards Taupo
A real mass of bubbling mud

The geyser is building up
Peter getting a little steamed
There she blows

The Huka  Falls going really fast out of Lake
Taupo.

Whakatane

Tauranga disused rail bridge.  Hopefully, kids were
jumping off it.

River at Whakatane
Coffee shop - Didn't try it there

Lady who saved her sisters by rowing the boat into
harbour.  A man's job
An art shot - or so Peter says

Our Motel  in view - to the left
